Police investigate shootout sparked by road rage in Livonia

LIVONIA, Mich. – Police are investigating a shootout in Livonia believed to have been sparked by road rage.
The incident happened Monday on Haggerty Road near Seven Mile Road and involved two vehicles. The investigation expanded outside of the AMC Livonia 20 and J. Alexander’s restaurant.
Police said the vehicles left the area before officers arrived.
No injuries have been reported, but police are checking for any victims.
Anyone who was in the area is asked to contact Livonia police.

LIVONIA, Mich. – Police are looking for a missing 55-year-old woman who went missing Sunday morning.
According to authorities, Angelina Ragland was last seen at about 10 a.m. near the intersection of Eight Mile and Merriman roads.

Police said there was no description of what clothing she was wearing, but that she suffers from schizophrenia, depression and anxiety.

The Livonia-based charity typically holds an in-person bowling fundraiser. Due to the COVID-19, Seedlings shifted its focus to the online auction.

LIVONIA, Mich. – Police are looking for a Justin Buell, a 31-year-old man last seen Friday on Hugh Street, just south of Eight Mile Road.
According to authorities, he sent a message through Facebook stating, “I don’t know how to say goodbye to everyone” and that he left his vehicle “in its usual spot.”
His vehicle and phone were located on Whitlock Street in Farmington Hills, just north of Eight Mile Road.
Sources said Buell has mental health issues and has been drinking more than usual.

Johnson’s trial is pending and he needs a medical procedure. Talon granted him a compassionate release and ordered him to pay a $10,000 bond, wear a tether and he can remain at home after medical treatment.
Both Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy and Detroit Police Chief James Craig said the bond is inappropriate. Worthy’s office is appealing the decision.
“Judge Talon let her murderer free on a temporary bond. That’s $2,000 for every time he shot her. This is just not right,” said Williams’ childhood friend, Marquise Mitchell
