LIVINGSTON, La. A father and son were in custody in New Orleans after the Saturday morning shooting death of a man described as a well-known Elvis impersonator in Denham Springs.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff s Office said that 28-year-old Trace Pigott and 53-year-old Tommy Ray Pigott were both taken into custody in New Orleans at separate times and are awaiting transportation to Livingston Parish in connection with the killing of Jason Baglio.

DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (AP) A father and son have been arrested in the fatal shooting of an Elvis impersonator in Louisiana.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff s Office said that deputies responded to reports of gunshots at an address in Denham Springs around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, The Advocate reported. They found Jason Baglio, who had been shot multiple times and died from his injuries.
The sheriff s office determined that 28-year-old Trace Pigott was the shooter, the newspaper reported. He was arrested in the New Orleans. Authorities said he would be sent back to Livingston Parish on a second-degree murder charge.

Sandra Parker of Pinckney was named this yearâs awardee during LACASAâs Child Abuse Prevention Councilâs virtual âPlant a Pinwheel Celebration.â Parker was named the Champion for Children in honor of her personal, professional, and community-wide work supporting and empowering children in Livingston County. She and her husband are licensed foster parents who have taken children-in-need into their home as well as providing respite for stressed children and families.
Parker runs groups within Pinckney schools that cover topics like anxiety, depression and substance abuse.
