Rebekah Jones, the fired Florida Department of Health data scientist-turned-whistleblower, turned herself in to police late on Sunday night to face a felony charge and a possible ban on using computers and the internet as a condition for release on bond, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Monday. Jones turned herself into the Leon County Detention Facility, the FDLE news release said. Court records show she turned herself in at 11:16 p.m.
The FDLE in their arrest warrant affidavit suggested bond conditions of no computer access, no internet access, and no contact with the witnesses or those people whose personal information was acquired through the download.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) â The Tallahassee Police made an arrest Tuesday as part of an ongoing drug trafficking case, confiscating cash and large amounts of heroin.
Members of TPD s General Narcotics Unit and Community Policing and Problem-Solving Squad worked together to investigate this case, and on Jan. 12, officers conducted a traffic stop of the car the suspect was seen traveling in, TPD said in a release.
Police searched the suspect s car and found $3,500 in cash and 11.8 grams of heroin, almost three times the threshold weight for trafficking, authorities said.

Swayzer had arrived a week earlier, on July 6, 2016, picked up after a dispute with a hotel clerk and charged with disorderly conduct and a parole violation from an old burglary conviction. She was clearly pregnant, just a few weeks from her due date, and police had her evaluated at a hospital before bringing her to jail. The fetus was deemed active and healthy, and Swayzer cleared for detention.
