Only about 1 in 10 Americans say the pandemic is mostly under control, the poll found. The nationwide survey shows that large majorities of people of all political affiliations say they think the deadly virus, which arrived in the country nearly a year ago, is only somewhat under control or not at all controlled, the Washington Post said.

► Florida’s surgeon general urged the federal government Wednesday to increase allotments of coronavirus vaccine to states like his where large concentrations of seniors face the greatest risk of illness and death from COVID-19.
► India began supplying coronavirus vaccines to its neighboring countries on Wednesday. India’s Foreign Ministry said the country would send 150,000 shots of the AstraZeneca/Oxford University vaccine to Bhutan and 100,000 shots to the Maldives.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. â Former Florida Department of Health analyst Rebekah Jones has turned herself in after a warrant was issued for her arrest, authorities say.
Just hours after being booked into the Leon County Jail, it was confirmed Jones tested positive for COVID-19.
To protect my family from continued police violence, and to show that I m ready to fight whatever they throw at me, I m turning myself into police in Florida Sunday night.
