TBWA\Dublin and SuperValu take us on journey back to the start.
April 23, 2021
To help combat kitchen fatigue, SuperValu has just launched their new ‘Freshly Prepared By SuperValu’ range of over 90 meals and side dishes, giving hungry shoppers a hassle-free, healthy alternative to cooking. To launch the new range, TBWA\Dublin has taken a novel approach to storytelling in a new TVC.
The film begins moments before the first bite is taken out of a delicious spread of food, and immediately lets us know this story is being told differently. The entire film plays out in reverse. From a mind bending jus being un-poured over an unbelievable spread, to a red pepper un-slicing itself in vivid slow-motion, the story of serving a delicious cooked meal unfolds. We see visceral shots of real, wholesome food overlayed with a composed track that brings a unique energy to the new way of storytelling.

Our beautiful boy, our big river, our no-fear son, our boy wonder, has flown on to another realm. To all that truly knew Kyle, he was too big for this world. Yet, he viewed himself as the world was too big for him. Kyle lived life fast and few could keep pace. His superpower was love. Like everything he ever attempted, it was full blown, get big, or stay home. Children loved him instantly, sensing he was part of their tribe. His sons, Kael Weston and Kellan Royce, adored him and he loved them full hearted, as his greatest gifts.
TBWA\Dublin Launch Covid Vaccine Campaign for HSE
March 3, 2021
In Ireland, the vaccine rollout has been a hot topic long before we even had sight of any COVID-19 vaccines on the horizon.
So TBWA\Dublin was tasked by the HSE to stabilise the narrative by creating a clear and simple campaign about the trustworthiness of the vaccine and to reassure people about the rollout plan. In doing this, the agency also wanted to offer people the most valuable of commodities at this time: hope.
Working with Event Junkies, the agency combined footage of the rollout in progress in nursing homes and among healthcare workers with self-filmed moments from numerous groups in our society – from LGFA players to community leaders; to doctors and nurses. In doing this, the campaign aims to show that nobody will be overlooked in the rollout and that everyone is part of the answer to COVID-19.
