Three people charged with robbery and kidnap following Carlisle incidents

Three people from Carlisle have been charged with robbery and kidnap following two reports received to police on Thursday.
The first incident happened at around 1.20am at Borland Avenue.
A 20-year-old man was delivering food and alcohol and reported to police that he was threatened by two males who made off with the delivery. The man was uninjured.
The second incident happened at around 2am  in the area of Holywell Crescent.
A 20-year-old man was forced at knifepoint to drive to a cash point and withdraw cash. The man suffered a minor facial injury.
Police have arrested and charged three people for kidnapping and robbery. The arrests came after two reports were received on Thursday, January 28. The first incident occurred at about 1.20am on January 28 at Borland Avenue, Carlisle.
