Huntington Library to open Chinese Garden s new art gallery in August Xinhua 04 Jun 2021, 05:05 GMT+10 LOS ANGELES, June 3 (Xinhua) The Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens, announced Thursday that it would open a new art gallery in its Chinese Garden this August with an exhibition of Chinese calligraphy as its inaugural installation. The new gallery, the Studio for Lodging the Mind, or Yu Yi Zhai in Chinese, located at the north end of the garden, according to the famous collections-based research and educational institution in Southern California, the gallery is a 160-square-meter, light-and climate-controlled gallery space suitable for the display of works of art on paper or silk.
