Scratch that Wandavision itch with classic sci-fi literature

Scratch that Wandavision itch with classic sci-fi literature Marianne Vadney New Disney+ show Wandavision is a big hit, and it is easy to see why. Even if you are new to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the characters and themes are relatable in a bizarre TV Land way.  No worries, there will be no spoilers for the show here, but the format of many of the episodes emulate classic TV shows of the 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond.  For many who have grown up with sitcoms, there is sure to be a strong wave of nostalgia.  Quirky visuals aren’t the only reason to watch though. The show tackles tough topics such as loss and, if you are familiar with the backstory of Wanda and Vision (two superheroes from the Avengers movies, comics and more), you know there are questions of artificial intelligence and what makes someone human. Also, a big part of the show (small spoiler) is a community trapped into an endless, fabricated loop.

The canyon offers great views on clear days and is dog-friendly with designated off-leash areas. Pro tip: Parking is at a premium on weekends, so arrive early and be sure to read the signs carefully.
