CQUniversity students and Mackay police bonded over a few games and schooners at a Drink Rite event.
Mackay Crime Prevention officers arrived with breathalysers in hand while students were encouraged to bring along drinks of their choosing.

Senior Constable Steve Smith said the event aimed to educate students on how to responsibly consume alcohol and give them an opportunity to learn their own limits.
