From the minute people turn up at the front door or swing into the car park, the people responsible for the finely tuned operation take over to ensure a smooth and safe process. A multi team effort has been responsible for setting up the coronavirus vaccination centre at the Glasgow Club centre in Easterhouse. The army helped the council set up the centre and turn the main hall from a games area into a vaccination centre. Glasgow Life and Glasgow City Council staff are on hand to oversee the facilities and make sure everone gets in and out safely. And NHS immunisation staff and nurses are there to stick teh needles in the arms of people to protect them from Covid-19.
