HELP AT HAND: Excericise classes for people with Parkinson’s Disease are up and running
EXCERCISE classes designed to help people living with Parkinson’s Disease are back in action after a break of more than 16 months due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Launched in October 2019 the gentle exercise classes, which help improve balance and core strength, had proved to be popular with residents before the lockdowns, with up to 17 attending the Friday afternoon sessions. The free hour-long sessions, organised by Parkinson’s UK, with instructors Lynn Charlton and Sue Bainbridge, from Middleton Community Gym, are specially created for those with Parkinson’s.
