A Lino Lakes boy s wish is coming true thanks to Make-A-Wish Foundation and an entire galaxy s worth of volunteers.
Fourteen-year-old Alexander Knutson was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 8. A huge Star Wars fan, his wish for Make-A-Wish was to act in a Star Wars fan film and have his family take part as well.
From the stormtroopers to crew members and editors, there are more than 100 people who are donating their time to this project over several months. I feel pretty blessed it was all able to happen, Knutson said. I think this is going to be just like a Star Wars movie, just way shorter and through a different perspective, he added.

Many Twin Cities nature centers are getting makeovers as officials remodel or rebuild aging structures to adapt to programming changes and a growing demand for environmental education.
From Richfield to West St. Paul, the construction projects are yielding or will soon yield buildings that showcase sustainable design or add classrooms to help more kids and adults connect to nature.
Some nature centers, particularly older ones, need updates, said Jen Levy, executive director of the Association of Nature Center Administrators.
