Hundreds of Carlisle residents turned out to pay tribute to a little boy who sadly after battling a rare form of cancer. Stanley Dalton s funeral took place on Thursday and friends, family and supporters lined the streets of the city for him as he took his final journey. Since then, tributes have come flooding in to the three-year-old who fought like a warrior to beat cancer. Bethany Michelle Ronson said: Rest in peace little man, was so lovely to see the blue ribbons everywhere today, thoughts and with Stan’s family. Stef CM explained: I went for a walk in my lunch break today. I went to walk through the cemetery which is my usual route but noticed everyone waiting so decided against the walk and stood at the side of the road to pay my respects. What a wonderful send off for such a happy little boy. I was so happy to see the fire service had came and had their blue lights flashing as Stan passed. Such a tear jerking moment but everyone involved did him proud.
