Blue Hill seeking new town clerk
BLUE HILL The town of Blue Hill is looking for a new town clerk and tax collector to replace Etta Perkins, who served the town for 26 years.
“We have accepted Etta’s retirement effective 1/15 and will respect her wishes to not discuss it further,” Town Administrator Shawna Ambrose stated in an email.
Ambrose has appointed Deputy Town Clerk Lyndsey Dow to serve as interim town clerk.
“There is a search for a new municipal clerk happening as we speak and the ad will be listed in both papers this week as well as our website,” Ambrose stated.
