Today, let’s think back to last year when many of you were in quarantine because of COVID-19.
“Neighbors” received a couple of emails concerning how people were dealing with it.
Ron Fredrickson, formerly of Fargo and now of Kenosha, Wis., wrote in April last year that he was in self-quarantine.
“My number 3 son gets groceries for me when he gets his own,” Ron wrote. “But it’s tempting to violate the terms right now (in April 2020) when we’re getting our first 79-degree temperature of the year.”

After a 45-year nursing career, a Racine woman decided to move to another continent to help others. Louise Omdahl has clocked 45 years in nursing, 34 of them with Ascension Wisconsin. Omdahl just wrapped up her final days as a family nurse practitioner at the Mount Pleasant clinic.
