BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Gloria Scott denies ever putting a price tag on her silence about alleged sexual harassment by former Louisiana State University (LSU) Tiger football star Derrius Guice.
But a recorded phone call, text messages and a police report obtained by WAFB-TV indicate an associate of Scott’s demanded LSU provide either $100,000 in hush money or keep Guice off the field during the 2017 Citrus Bowl.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The LSU Tigers fought hard in the third game of the series against No. 1 Vanderbilt, but ultimately could not get the clutch hit when they needed it and have fallen to 1-8 in Southeastern Conference.
Vanderbilt (23-4, 8-1 SEC) continued to flex their muscles against LSU (17-11, 1-8 SEC) as they swept the Tigers in a 5-4 win on Saturday, April 3. Although it wasn’t quite the scores the previous two games were the Commodores showed they could win close games.

SALT LAKE CITY (WAFB) - No. 3 LSU gymnastics is advancing to the 2021 NCAA Championships for the 31st time in school history.
The Tigers beat out Kentucky and Arizona State in the Regional Finals on Saturday, April 3 to finish second behind Utah. LSU needed a strong performance heading into beams, the final rotation.
Heading into the final rotation it was Utah in first at 148.700, Kentucky in second at 148.250 and LSU in third at 148.225.
The Tigers would answer with a strong performance on beam from Christina Desiderio who opened with a 9.90, Sami Durante would follow with a 9.95. Alyona Shchennikova replaced Haleigh Bryant and scored a 9.825.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The top ranked LSU menâs and womenâs track and field team combined to win 20 titles at the Battle on the Bayou, an event that they hosted on Saturday, April 4 at Bernie Moore Track Stadium.
In the 200 meters, Favour Ofili won the even when she ran the fastest 200 meter time of her career with a 22.69 that currently leads the NCAA. She became the seventh fastest Nigerian in history over the distance of 200 meters, and was a Battle on the Bayou meet record.
