Bengals fans, meet Ja Marr Chase the No. 5 overall pick.
Although he opted out of the 2020 season, the LSU wide receiver had little to prove after winning the Biletnikoff Award as the nation s top receiver in 2019 and helping the Tigers win the national championship that season. Chase tallied nine receptions, 221 yards and two touchdowns in the victory over Clemson.
By the end of the season, he set SEC records and led the FBS with 1,780 receiving yards and 20 receiving touchdowns in 14 starts.
As a true freshman in 2018, Chase totaled 23 receptions, 313 yards and three touchdowns while starting seven of 13 games.
The move reunites Chase with his college quarterback, Joe Burrow. The pair helped lead LSU to an undefeated national championship season in 2019. Chase caught 84 passes for 1,780 yards and 20 touchdowns, averaging over 21 yards per catch and winning the Biletnikoff Award as the nation s best wide receiver.
Thaddeus Moss Headed to Bengals To Reunite With Joe Burrow
Former LSU tight end Thaddeus Moss, son of NFL Hall of Famer Randy Moss, has been picked up by the Cincinnati Bengals from the Washington Football team. Moss was part of the LSU Tigers National Championship team in 2019.
Moss is headed to the Bengals and will reunite with his former quarterback and Heisman trophy winner, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. Moss was an undrafted free agent when he landed in Washington but spent the entire season on injured reserve due to a a foot injury.
At LSU, Moss was a beast with some impressive stats in the 12 games he played in his final season at LSU. He caught 47 passes for 570 yards and four touchdowns. Of course, he did this as Burrow was throwing him the ball.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Gloria Scott denies ever putting a price tag on her silence about alleged sexual harassment by former Louisiana State University (LSU) Tiger football star Derrius Guice.
But a recorded phone call, text messages and a police report obtained by WAFB-TV indicate an associate of Scott’s demanded LSU provide either $100,000 in hush money or keep Guice off the field during the 2017 Citrus Bowl.
