LAS CRUCES - Third Judicial District Judge Lisa Schultz has left the building.
Her time with the Third District came to an end on June 30, leaving a vacancy that officials hope to fill within the next few months.

Beverly Akin of the Judicial Selection Office said in a news release that applications to fill Schultz s seat are due Friday, July 16. She said the Third Judicial District Court Judicial Nominating Commission will convene beginning at 9 a.m. July 28 to review the candidates.
