Though well-intentioned, body positivity can seem unrealistic to those who feel like loving their body is out of reach.
As a result, some advocates have adopted the approach of “body neutrality.” This mentality challenges the notion of body positivity and involves taking your body out of the centre of your self-image by instead focusing on the way you feel. FoodMarble doubling team as demand for digestive health tech grows

The Dublin-based start-up will be hiring for 25 roles to help with its expansion in the North American market.
Irish start-up FoodMarble is growing its team as part of a continued expansion into new markets and a focus on R&D for digital digestive health tools.
The company is planning to take on 25 new hires in Dublin. These jobs will be a combination of technology roles, including engineering and design, and commercial roles in areas such as marketing, sales, business development and customer success.
“Our continued expansion plans and the hiring of 25 roles, doubling the size of our team, is a really exciting step and will help us continue to execute on our mission and capture new markets,” said CEO and co-founder Aonghus Shortt.

The Dublin-based start-up will use the funding to expand into new markets and further develop its personal digestive tracker.
An Irish start-up developing digital digestive health tools has just raised €2.1m in seed funding.
FoodMarble’s seed investment round was led by Business Venture Partners, with participation from SOSV, Breed Reply, Delta Partners and Enterprise Ireland. The company has also launched its first crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs to raise further investment.
The fresh funding will support continued expansion into new markets, as well as research and development projects. This includes further developing FoodMarble’s Aire device, which is a personal digestive tracker.
