Mastering the complex skills nurses use every day takes a lot of practice. But how do you get that practice without putting real patients at risk?
That’s where simulation comes in.
Students in MacEwan University’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program learn procedures in safe, realistic environments. The university uses a range of innovative simulation techniques and technologies to give aspiring nurses an immersive experience that leaves them prepared to work with real patients. A purpose-built simulation lab allows students to get as close as possible to a real clinical setting.
