Production on Season 2 is currently underway. The series received an early Season 3 renewal in October.
Ted Lasso, which hails from Sudeikis and Bill Lawrence, is based on the popular Coach Ted Lasso character Sudeikis played in NBC Sports videos several years ago. It stars Sudeikis as Ted Lasso, a small-time college football coach from Kansas hired to coach a professional soccer team in England, despite having no experience coaching soccer. Hannah Waddingham, Brendan Hunt, Jeremy Swift, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Phil Dunster and Nick Mohammed also star.

Washington [US], January 28 (ANI): Hollywood actor Katie Beth Hall has joined the cast of the HBO Max reboot pilot of Head of the Class , with Warner Bros. Television serving as the studio for the series.
According to Variety, the reboot is going to revolve around a group of overachieving high school students who meet their greatest challenge, a teacher, who wants them to focus less on grades and more on experiencing life.
Hall will play the role of Sarah Watson who is on the swim team with Terrell (Brandon Severs) and is a type-A personality that s driven to create her own destiny.

In “Ted Lasso,” Ted (Jason Sudeikis) won over his boss (Hannah Waddingham) by secretly baking her the most delectable fresh biscuits every day. And Waddingham just won over the Critics Choice Association by telling us that those biscuits (which we would call cookies on this side of the pond) are actually disgusting in real life.
In a video sent to voters on Tuesday, Waddingham invited TV critics to the set of the Apple TV+ comedy presumably when this whole pandemic thing is over, that is.
