Free at-home STI test kits extended to over 25s in Lincolnshire
| Updated: 09:52, 30 March 2021
A scheme offering free at-home sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing kits has been extended to include anyone over the age of 25 who live in Lincolnshire.
The successful project, which was originally launched in the county by Lincolnshire Integrated Sexual Health Service (LiSH) in September 2019, had previously only been available to those aged 15-24.
By visiting www.freeandclear.me online, those in need of a kit simply answer a short questionnaire before the kit is discreetly delivered to their door within days. The test screens for both chlamydia and gonorrhoea.

The first patients received their jabs as the county’s second largest coronavirus vaccination centre opened at Lincolnshire Showground on Tuesday morning.
COVID-19 vaccinations will be provided from the new EXO Centre at Lincolnshire Showground, starting with people aged over 70.
It is now open daily between 8am and 8pm and can deliver around 1,000 doses a day by invitation only.

The county’s second largest coronavirus vaccination centre will open at the Lincolnshire Showground on Tuesday.
It means Lincolnshire will be one of a handful of areas with two big vaccination centres, the largest being at the Princess Royal Sports Arena in Boston, which opened on January 18.
COVID-19 vaccinations will now also be provided from the new EXO Centre at the Lincolnshire Showground, which will be open daily between 8am and 8pm from February 2.
The vaccination centres at Lincolnshire Showground and in Boston are both run by Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust.
Some 80% of over 80-year-olds have been protected with their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination across Lincolnshire, which is said to have “very few side effects”.
