For pitcher Alex Storako, it felt a lot longer.
The Illinois native was on the mound for the Wolverines’ final game of 2020 – a March 6 showdown against No. 23 UCF. Michigan took a 2-1 lead into the bottom of the eighth, but the Knights tied the game with an RBI single. Then, with two outs, Storako uncorked a wild pitch that allowed the winning run to score.
SOUTH BEND â Two people face felony charges of resisting law enforcement after they led police on a nearly 20-minute chase through parts of Mishawaka and South Bend.
In addition to the felony count of resisting law enforcement, Nicholas Singleton and Krystal Pinkowski, both 30 years old, each face one additional felony and multiple misdemeanor charges for their roles in the incident which ended with the suspect s car being pinned against a wall near the intersection of Lincoln Way West and Ironwood Avenue on Monday morning.
According to police and court documents, Mishawaka officers attempted to arrest Singleton on Sunday night in the 500 block of South Logan Street on a warrant for failure to return to lawful detention. When officers approached Singleton, he ran his vehicle into a Mishawaka patrol car and drove off, court documents say.

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – Two people were arrested after allegedly leading police on a chase and damaging other vehicles during the pursuit Monday morning, the St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team reported.
At 10:15 a.m., officers from the Mishawaka Police Street Crimes Unit tried to arrest 30-year-old Nicholas Singleton on active warrants after he was located in an orange Chevy Avalanche at an apartment complex on Douglas Road, police said.
Singleton was in the passenger seat of the Avalanche and a woman, 30-year-old Krystal Pinkowski, was in the driver’s seat.
