According to court documents, Mishawaka police responded to a Subway near the intersection of Lincoln Way East and Byrkit Avenue on Monday afternoon for reports of an armed robbery.
An employee at the store told police the suspect came into the store, displayed the butt of a handgun and ordered him to put money into a soda cup, court documents said. Surveillance footage showed the suspect driving off in a Hyundai Accent, which officers were able to locate.
