Cameron County on Thursday reported two coronavirus-related deaths and 182 positive cases of COVID-19.
According to a news release from Cameron County, a woman from Los Indios in her 30s and a San Benito man in his 70s, died as a result of the virus.
Since the pandemic began, the county has reported 1,708 deaths related to the coronavirus. Of the new cases reported Thursday, 96 were from unaccompanied minor shelters and detention centers.
The people who tested positive in the county are in the following age groups:

One person is dead after a rollover crash in Cameron County Saturday night.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a one-vehicle rollover crash that occurred on Weber Road near Rangerville Road at approximately 11:56 p.m.
A preliminary investigation revealed the driver of a red 2002 GMC Sierra was traveling southbound on Weber Road, a gravel road, at an unsafe speed and entered into a left side skid then turned onto its side.
