DPU: December Automatic Payments For Some Utility Bill Customers Delayed Until Monday Jan. 11
DPU News:
The Los Alamos County Department of Public Utilities (DPU) discovered today an error that prevented some customers’ automatic payments of utility bills from being processed. Customers who should have seen funds drafted from their bank accounts Thursday, Dec. 31 to pay December utility bills will instead see the funds drafted Monday, Jan. 11.
“We apologize for this error and the inconvenience this may have caused for some of our customers,” stated Acting Deputy Utilities Manager of Finance Heather Garcia.
Customers who are registered for DPU’s automatic payment program can contact the Customer Care representatives if they have questions or log on to the utilities self-service portal at https://ladpu.com/Utilities-Portal to view the payment status of the December utility bills.
