Australian Potash has Cultural Heritage Management Plan approved for Lake Wells SOP Project

Australian Potash Ltd (ASX:APC) (ASX:APC) has received the final key environmental permit required for the development of Lake Wells Sulphate of Potash Project (LSOP) in Western Australia.
The state’s Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) has approved the company’s Cultural Heritage Management Plan (CHMP).
EPA approval was required under the Ministerial Statement issued in February 2021 and provides a framework for understanding the cultural context within which the LSOP will be developed.

A woman has been found dead in an overnight house fire at Laverton.
Firefighters were called to a home in Badge Court just after midnight after receiving a number of panicked calls.
They arrived in just over four minutes to find a single story brick home completely engulfed in flames.
Inside, they found the body of a woman, aged about 50.
A man in his 50s was taken to Werribee Mercy Hospital in a stable condition.
A man in his 20s was taken to The Alfred with minor upper body injuries and in a stable condition.
A man in his 60s was taken to same hospital in a stable condition.

A young child has died and a man who tried to save him has been seriously burnt after a house fire in Melbourne’s south-east.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Leonard Street in Dandenong just before 10pm on Sunday after the child was caught in a fire. Despite the efforts of the man, a family friend who was boarding at the home, the child, believed to be aged 4, died at the scene.

Greater Dandenong police Inspector Peter Koger said the fire was believed to have been sparked by a heater. Two adults and two children escaped.
