A woman has been found dead in an overnight house fire at Laverton.
Firefighters were called to a home in Badge Court just after midnight after receiving a number of panicked calls.
They arrived in just over four minutes to find a single story brick home completely engulfed in flames.
Inside, they found the body of a woman, aged about 50.

A young child has died and a man who tried to save him has been seriously burnt after a house fire in Melbourne’s south-east.
