Miller, was recognized on Nov. 24 as a recipient for the Airport Business Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40 award. It recognizes top leaders in the aviation industry who are under the age of 40. Miller has been in the aviation industry for 17 years. Prior to his current role as Director of Laredo International Airport, he started his career at the Manistee County Blacker Airport located in Michigan. During his time there, he learned the basics of the industry such as operations between airlines, pilots, etc. Afterwards, he attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to pursue a degree in aviation management and began working for various airports.
