Blackburn Magistrates Court A WOMAN who went out drinking on the first day the pubs opened after the first lockdown ended up throwing a glass at another female. Blackburn magistrates heard the victim was walking away when the glass hit her on the back of the head causing a cut which needed hospital treatment. Laura Chadwick, 23, of Bradyll Court, Old Langho, pleaded guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm. She was remanded on bail until February 25 for the preparation of a pre-sentence report. Andy Robinson, prosecuting, said the incident happened on July 4, the first day pubs were allowed to open after the first national lockdown.
