A local cruise line is delaying the start of its season because of the current stay-at-home order and lockdown in Ontario.
St. Lawrence Cruise Lines announced in February that it was aiming to set sail next month, but it announced last week that it has pushed its start date back to June 24. Passengers who held tickets for a cruise in May have been rebooked for June, the cruise line said in a news release.

A Kingston cruise line has announced it is forging ahead with its upcoming season in the wake of the federal government extending its ban earlier this month on commercial cruise ships with more than 100 passengers from operating in Canadian waters for another year.
The good news for St. Lawrence Cruise Lines is that its vessel, the Canadian Empress, typically accommodates just over 60 passengers.
