Most of us working from home have little to stimulate the senses at the moment barring the view out the window and that daily walk on the same increasingly muddy route.
So apologies in advance for sharing these images of solicitors (pre third lockdown, we should point out) taking in some stunning scenery in the name of charity.
Four staff from Cumbria firm Cartmell Shepherd Solicitors hiked a total of 50 Lake District fells with friends and family between them to raise £500 for a local hospice. The challenge was spread over the second half of 2020.
Team member and keen fell walker Laura Clarke, who is a private client executive at the firm, and her partner Dan bagged 26 peaks including Ullock Pike, Blencathra and Skiddaw. She said her favourite moment was reaching the top of a snow-covered Helvellyn on Christmas Eve.
