EAST AURORA, N.Y. An amazing holiday display is really lighting things up in East Aurora, and it s become the talk of the town. The family behind it hopes it brings people joy this season, and inspires them to give back to others.
The Hilltop Light Show comes on every night at the corner of Boies and Schopper Roads in East Aurora. The homeowners, Michael and Ashlee Bojanowski, say they created the 40-minute long, synchronized show featuring popular songs and 15-thousand lights - just to spread a little cheer at the end of a tough year, and give families a safe social distanced holiday activity.

BUFFALO, N.Y. It s kind of like stating all over again, Newfane High School Science Teacher Richard Meyers recently told 2 On Your Side. I walked in this year, I felt like I was a first year teacher again, and I know a lot of teachers would say the same thing.
But Meyers is in his 25th year teaching science at Newfane High School. This year, he teaches live in his classroom every day. Half of the students are there in person, while the other half tunes in to the lessons from home.

BATAVIA, N.Y. Many holiday traditions aren t able to happen safely this year, but this is an example of one that can still go on as normal.
Most retail shops decorate for the holidays this time of year, but in Batavia they take it very seriously, In fact, it s a competition. Fifteen businesses along Main Street are trying to win the annual Downtown Batavia Window Decorating Contest when voting ends Friday.
People can either drive through or stroll along to check the windows out, then vote for their favorite one by 5 p.m. today on Facebook page for the Batavia Daily News.
