A male tourist sustained minor wounds after he slipped and fell while climbing a high rock cliff, widely known as the ‘death cliff,’ at Ma Pi Leng Pass in Lai Lung Commune, Meo Vac District, northern Ha Giang Province to take pictures on Sunday.
According to preliminary information, a group of tourists, including Mai Thuy H., 29, hailing from northern Son La Province, visited the well-known rock cliff early on Sunday afternoon.
While H. was climbing the cliff, which is dubbed a must-visit destination in Ha Giang for its breath-taking photography opportunity, he lost his footing and tumbled down to a lower cliff.
