Lloyd Clark, 72, pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of smuggling goods into the United States. He could be sentenced to 20 years in prison. Customs and Border Protection officials in October seized parcels from China addressed to Clark’s Sioux City home, the U.S. Attorney’s office said.

Attwells Solicitors donates PCs to Philip Morant School

Photo: Sophie Debenham A SCHOOL has received a generous donation of more than a dozen computers thanks to a Colchester business. Pupils at the Philip Morant School now have 15 PCs after legal firm Attwells Solicitors in North Hill arranged for the donation. The idea was organised by former pupil and Attwells Partner Lloyd Clarke who was inspired to help after reading reports of children struggling to access resources for home learning during lockdown. He said: “I was advised there are instances where some students have no computer access or only one shared computer in the household.”
