The City of Euclid has agreed to a 475 thousand dollar settlement of an excessive use of force lawsuit filed against police. Lamar Wright claimed he was wrongfully tased in 2016 after pulling into a driveway to call his girlfriend. Body camera footage shows officers approached and ordered Wright to raise his hands. Wright, who was wearing a colostomy bag due to recent stomach surgery, was slow to react and was tazed. His lawsuit was dismissed but reinstated by a federal court.
