Maine Man Breaks into Multiple Homes, Assaults Owner
According to WGME 13, a Maine man is in custody following a short spree of home break-ins followed by an assault on one of the home owners.
Authorities say that Lance Bradford, 34 of Levant, broke into multiple houses in Bangor on Wednesday. When he entered the second home he encountered the home owner who asked him to leave. When Bradford refused to leave an altercation ensued.
Sargent Wade Betters with the Bangor Police Department said,
“The victim did not know Bradford, nor had he given Bradford permission to enter his residence. The victim reportedly asked and told Bradford to leave multiple times, but Bradford refused to do so.”
Bangor police were able to catch up with a burglary suspect after he fell while attempting to jump from one rooftop to another on Wednesday.
Lance Bradford, 34, of Levant faces a felony burglary charge as well as charges of criminal mischief and assault.
Police say Bradford entered a man s house near West Broadway and assaulted him just before noon. During the struggle, the man was able to break away and call police. The distraught homeowner told police he did not know the man, later identified as Bradford.

Bradford left the man s house just before the officers arrived, but a caller soon reported Bradford had entered a house on the corner of Pier Street and West Broadway.

BANGOR, Maine A Levant man was arrested Wednesday morning after allegedly breaking into a man s home and assaulting him, Bangor police said.
Around 11:45 a.m., officers responded to 134 West Broadway in Bangor after a neighbor called 911. There, officers found a distraught homeowner who said 34-year-old Lance Bradford had assaulted him. According to police, the victim said he did not know Bradford and asked him repeatedly to get out of his house.
