The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed five members of their 2020 draft class, adding to their Canadian depth. Wide receiver Kian Schaffer-Baker (fourth round, 30th overall), linebacker A.J. Allen (fourth round, 35th overall), defensive back Vincent Dethier (fifth round, 44th overall), running back Jonathan Femi-Cole (sixth round, 53rd overall) and offensive lineman Jesse Lawson (seventh round, 62nd overall) have all signed on the dotted line. The Mississauga-born Schaffer-Baker spent four seasons with the University of Guelph, playing in 28 games and recording 95 catches for 1,544 yards and eight touchdowns. A few picks later, the Riders selected another Guelph player in Allen. The Burlington product lined up at linebacker and defensive end during his university career. He recorded 63.5 tackles and 5.5 sacks in 31 games. In 2018, he was named an OUA second-team all-star.
