TPL Corp donates panaflex skins to RLCC for Out-of-home campaign

National April 16, 2021 KARACHI: After a successful marketing campaign to launch TrakkerPro last year, TPL Trakker, part of TPL Corp, and Pakistan’s leading IoT Company, donated the panaflex skins used in their Out-of-home campaign to Ra’ana Liaquat Craftsmen’s Colony, (RLCC) and GarbageCAN. RLCC, is an institute that aims to empower women through improved health, education, and economic independence. GarbageCAN, a sustainable waste management company, aims to take Karachi into a new era of waste management with a focus on environmentally friendly waste management practices, such as reduce, reuse, and recycle, enabling people to implement sustainable waste management in to their daily routines.

China to incept Waste Economy in Pakistan--China Economic Net

  To launch “Waste Economy” in Pakistan, Chinese companies are likely to be engaged to generate power from waste in Lahore, the densely urbanized metropolitan of Punjab, and the emerging economic hub of Pakistan. The initiative will pave the way to add clean energy to the National grid and allow the government to convert trash into profit.     The fresh development came into view on the revelations of Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) officials in a talk with Gwadar pro. PITB, LWMC to streamline waste management operations Lahore April 9, 2021 LAHORE:A meeting was held at Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) regarding the information and communication technology (ICT) initiatives for Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) here on Thursday. The meeting was chaired by PITB Chairman Azfar Manzoor and LWCM CEO Imran Ali Sultan. The PITB DG e- Governance Sajid Latif and other officials from both organisations were also present. While discussing different areas of collaboration, special emphasis was laid on the implementation of ICT interventions to streamline the waste management operations of Lahore. “PITB will look into developing a model for automating waste management operations for better staff monitoring, vehicle tracking as well as staff attendance through IRIS (retina based) scanners,” PITB Chairman Azfar Manzoor commented.
