The Scott Police Department is hoping that the public can help them identify a man who is wanted for allegedly burglarizing a business.
According to the press release from the department, the man can be seen on surveillance vide taken several items then fleeing on his bicycle. The business is located in the 700 block of Westgate Road.
According to Police Chief Leger, the suspect is a white male who can be seen wearing a dark-colored jacket with blue jeans. The guy is estimated at being in his late 20 s or early 30 s.
The suspect was seen carrying a black tactical style book sack . It apparently had Mollie straps on it. He had on a brown bandana along with black boots and black belt.

The Scott Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying a burglary suspect.
The suspect was caught on video surveillance on March 24, 2021, around 6:45 pm, entering a place of business in the 700 block of Westgate Rd. After taking several items inside the business the subject used a bicycle to leave the area, traveling south on Westgate Rd., according to Scott Police Chief Chad Leger. The suspect was also seen in the area near 10:00 pm riding the bicycle.
The suspect is described as a white male, late 20s to early 30s, medium build, wearing a dark colored jacket, blue jeans, black belt, black boots, a tan and brown bandanna on his head, and a black tactical style book sack with Mollie straps, the Chief stated.

Police searching for stolen truck after attempted carjacking

Lafayette Police are looking for a truck that was stolen from a construction site just minutes after the robber tried to carjack a woman on Frem Boustany Drive.
Comeaux High was on lockdown. The suspect is described as a white man.
The attempted car jacking was at about 6:30 a.m., and then the construction truck was stolen from Meadow Farm Road at about 6:50 a.m., police say.

The truck doesn t have the logo, it s just white. However, it is the same type of truck and it is loaded with construction equipment. It has a Florida license plate, number PZFN52.
Investigators Need Help Solving A Youngsville Arson Case
Lafayette Fire Department Investigator Alton Trahan says, via press release, they need the public s help in identifying a vehicle s owner who may be involved in an arson case.
Just before 4 o clock in the morning on Tuesday, March 2, firefighters from Youngsville were called out to the 1000 block of Fortune Road to find a truck on fire.
