Investigators Need Help Solving A Youngsville Arson Case
Lafayette Fire Department Investigator Alton Trahan says, via press release, they need the public s help in identifying a vehicle s owner who may be involved in an arson case.
Just before 4 o clock in the morning on Tuesday, March 2, firefighters from Youngsville were called out to the 1000 block of Fortune Road to find a truck on fire.

Trahan says they are releasing some pictures to the public to see if someone can identify the car and driver. Trahan says this person may have been involved in the fire.

Officials with the Lafayette Fire Department say, via press release, that a fire at Max s Pool Hall in Lafayette is now out.
Lafayette Fire Department Investigator Alton Trahan says that there were no injuries reported as a result of the fire. He adds that a mechanical failure the heating/cooling unit is to blame, and the fire was small.
Trahan says there is a huge presence of smoke inside of Max s along with the other businesses that are in that same strip-mall area.
He says the responding firefighters are working to vent the buildings to get rid of the smoke.
