Burtonwood Coffee Co: Meet the couple with their own roastery

SOME started baking their own bread during the first lockdown while others got around to DIY projects they had previously been putting off. Many people found new interests or projects to fill up their time while they were stuck at home but a Burtonwood couple also found a new calling. Ellis Roberts and Toni Molyneux learnt how to roast coffee, originally just as a hobby, and now they have a dedicated workshop at their Green Jones Brow home and a growing list of around 60 customers, including many who order weekly. Toni, 26, said: It started as a hobby at first, roasting for ourselves and family and friends but the feedback we received was great and that’s when Ellis came up with the idea of Burtonwood Coffee Co.
