HANOVER TWP. An area man was seriously injured when the motorcycle he was driving went of the right side of state Route 3 near Ashland County Road 3275 and struck a guardrail on Wednesday morning, according to a news release from the State Highway Patrol.
According to the release, Jim R. Hawk, 53, of Mansfield, was life-flighted via helicopter to Akron General Hospital after overturning and being ejected from his 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager 1700 a little after 5 a.m.

Hawk was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor in the crash, the release said.

Hanover Township – Troopers are investigating a serious injury crash that occurred on State Route 3 near County Road 3275 this morning ( Wednesday) at approximately 5:07 A.M.
A 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager 1700, operated by Jim R. Hawk, 53 of Mansfield, Ohio, was northbound on SR 3.The motorcycle went off of the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail before overturning and ejecting the driver.
Mr Hawk sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash and was life-flighted via helicopter to Akron General Hospital. Mr Hawk was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Alcohol & Drugs do not appear to be a factor in the crash.

ASHLAND COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - A 31-year-old Mansfield man is charged with inducing panic after threatening Loudonville police officers and causing the evacuation of a movie theatre.
Ashland County Prosecutor Christopher Tunnell said Rusty Allen Wisenbarger called the police department around 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6.
Wisenbarger allegedly threatened to destroy the police station located in the 100 block of North Water Street.
Tunnell said because the police department is located in the same building as the Ohio Theater, which was showing a movie at the time, officers evacuated the building.
