Man found high on K2 amid crying children and unconscious wife
Johnathan Pace, 36, of 684 Second Ave., tested positive for allegedly having K2 in his system when police responded to a call from his nine-year-old daughter Dec. 12, police said.
According to an affidavit filed by city officer Andrew Stevens, police found Pace conscious alongside his unconscious but breathing wife. Police said Pace had slow and thick speech, that he could not keep his balance and that his pupils were large. Pace was found to have possessed a bag of suspected K2 and rolling papers, and although Pace denied having smoked K2, a urine test given by probation tested positive for K2, according to police.

Woman arraigned on loitering charges
Chy Ann McCormick, 46, of Williamsport, allegedly knocked on the door of a Memorial Avenue property while intoxicated, causing a loud disturbance at around 10 p.m.
Dec. 12, according to city police. Officer Christopher Salisbury wrote in an affidavit that allegedly, McCormick would not leave the resident’s porch and that she smelled of alcohol, slurred her speech and could not walk.
McCormick was arraigned by Judge Aaron Biichle later that night on charges related defiant trespassing, disorderly conduct, loitering and prowling at night and public drunkenness. She is being held in the Lycoming County Prison with bail set to $12,000 and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Dec. 17.

ICU patient allegedly broke nurse’s hand
While Lamar Allen Strothers, 41, of 47 Washington Blvd., was in the UPMC Williamsport ICU Oct. 3, he allegedly squeezed a nurse’s hand hard enough to break her scaphoid and tear ligaments, according to city police. Strothers, who arresting officer Gino Caschera said had been in the ICU for a few days before allegedly becoming aggressive, is charged with aggravated assault and simple assault. Strothers was arraigned by judge Aaron Biichle Dec. 8 and released on $25,000 bail, and will appear before Biichle on Jan. 7.
Lewisburg woman arraigned for March DUI
