Delhi: Man kills 17-year-old girl for refusing marriage proposal

A 17-year-old girl was found murdered at her house in Rohini s Begumpur area, police said on Saturday.
A 25-year-old man identified as Laik Khan is the main suspect and is absconding, they said. The victim has been identified as Neetu, a resident of Begum Vihar. She was allegedly killed by Laik Khan, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) P K Mishra said.
Prima facie the reason behind the crime appears to be the victim s refusal to marry the accused, police said. They said the incident took place on Friday and police received information about it around 9.30 pm from the hospital.
