The Journal of Latin American Geography is published by the Conference of Latin American Geography (CLAG) and distributed by the University of Texas Press. A specialized group of geographers founded in 1970, CLAG was organized to develop geographic investigation in and on Latin America. As well as the Journal of Latin American Geography, CLAG also publishes a Newsletter and maintains an active listserv. It invites social scientists of all disciplines related to CLAG subjects to participate in its conferences, held every 18 months in the Americas, and in its publications.
