LELAND Larry D. Young, 69, passed away Monday, Dec. 7, 2020. His love and memories will remain in the heart of his wife, Ella Young; children, Adrian Young of Leland, LaToya Young and Larry Young Jr., both of Paterson, New Jersey, Michael Hudson (Altovise) of Fort Mill, South Carolina, and Ronald Harmon of Paterson, New Jersey; siblings, Gloria McNair and Martha A. Young, both of Leland, John H. Young of Paterson, New Jersey, and William Hobbs (Schula) of Prospect, Connecticut; and 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Public viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 11, at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington. The viewing will be walk-through only with no gathering or lingering. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 12, at Halls Family Cemetery, Leland.
