Lancashire Trading Standards launched an investigation after a report from the Chorley family.
The case centres around his failure between June and July 2018 to set out their rights to cancel contracts for roofing and building work, and failing to complete the work, for which he had been paid thousands of pounds.
The bench at Preston Magistrates’ Court adjourned the case again until January 27.
Lee was previously jailed for 18 months - one of the longest prison sentences Lancashire Trading Standards have ever secured for a bogus workman - for similar offences.
