Born in Bangladesh in 1985, Saad studied Didactics at University of Dhaka, before switching to Filmmaking. He has produced short films and commercials under his own production company. As a filmmaker, Saad is known to keep a low profile. His debut feature film, Live from Dhaka (2016), received Silver Screen Awards for Best Director and Best Performance (Mostafa Monwar) at the 27th Singapore International Film Festival. Director Abdullah Mohammad Saad's "Rehana Maryam Noor" became the first Bangladeshi film to feature in a major segment in the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Noted actor Azmeri Haque Badhon, who plays the lead role in the film, was overwhelmed at the announcement. "I have no words, this feeling cannot be compared" says Badhon, who is now a part of history thanks to the film.

Joy Hok Joy Hok, written by Kazi Nazrul Islam. The song will be sung by Sushmita Anis, while the music composition is being done by Arnob. For the video, Mohsina Akhter was behind costume design and Piplu R Khan directed it. The video will be released on celebration of the day of Independence. Badhon said, This song was written so long ago by Kazi Nazrul Islam, but it still feels relevant to this day. This song is very inspirational and makes me want to stand up against any oppressive powers. This is the first musical film that I have appeared in.
