The capital “g” God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob has not been welcomed in California’s public schools for a half-century but an Aztek god who inspired child sacrifice is set for a comeback.
The god is known as Tezcatlipoca, a central deity to the Aztecs, who is also recognized by Britannica.com for another feat: bringing human sacrifice to central Mexico 900 years ago.
In the name of diversity and inclusion, the draft curriculum by the California Dept. of Education requires students to chant the name of Tezcatlipoca and other gods in an effort to build unity among marginalized students, The New York Post reported.

The California Department of Education is recommending that schools have their students join anti-“Whiteness” pep rallies complete with chanting and praising of ancient deities, RealClearInvestigations reports.
They also recommend that educators lead their students to chant “In Lak Ech,” which invokes the names of Mesopotamian and Aztec deities, the latter of which was considered the god of human sacrifice.
In the video below, students can be seen and heard chanting led by R. Tolteka Cuauhtin, one of the authors of California’s divisive and insane ethnic studies curriculum, which was recently rejected by the state’s legislature.

California’s Proposed K-12 Curriculum Encourages Chanting to Aztec Gods
The California Department of Education has proposed a new curriculum that would involve teachers leading students in chanting the names of Aztec gods in an effort to build unity in the classroom.
The latest draft of the proposed Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum, which will undergo a vote for approval next week, seeks to “center and place high values” of the traditions and experiences of pre-Columbian America, and to critique “white supremacy and racism” that led to their marginalization in the modern world.
This guiding narrative is reflected in the design of sample lessons and various class activities, including the model curriculum’s official “ethnic studies community chant,” in which students directly appeal to the deities of the Aztec pantheon for the power to become “warriors” of “love, ecological and social justice.”
